This week I seem to be in a reflective mood and have been thinking about how quickly time passes, WOYWW seems to roll around before you know it - I am grateful to Julia at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk for making me more aware of the passage of time, wanting to fit more creative things in and the buzz we all get from sharing.
Today and it seems appropriately on my workspace is the start of a clock face - this is a first for me and in my usual style I am pondering (procrastinating??) on how to decorate and thinking where should it go once it's finished (ha ha barely started!!)
I seem to have so many paints and stamps I am spoilt for choice which is sometimes the very thing that stops me.
Maybe I'll just drink my tea and have a wander around your crafty space for inspiration.....
Thanks for stopping by, have a great week
ooh nice view girly...but the clock face would definitely give me blank page syndrome...do a dummy run first!! I always look at the stamps Ive gathered together and start with my favourite from that choice...it's not an infallible method, but quite often breaks the *pondering* cycle!
ReplyDeleteOh I know the feeling...the more we have the longer it takes to decide....
ReplyDeleteWhile you're having your tea, thinkmof this......we have 15 Saturday's left before Christmas! Xxxx
If in doubt, drink tea.
ReplyDeleteHope you work out all your questions

Julie gives some good advice too! I can relate with your procrastination dilemma...I'm never sure what it is that stops me so I just walk away for a while. Just randomly snooping...how do you choose where to snoop? Be well Carole #110
ReplyDeleteIt can be hard to decide . . . sometimes I just make myself make something, to get going.
ReplyDeleteA happy WOYWW to you, Kim!

ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW. I seem to spend a lot of time in my craft room and not as much gets finished as I think should be! Good luck with your clockface. Ali x #104 (with NEC tickets to give away)
ReplyDeleteI fancy making a pretty clock, looking forward to seeing how this one turns out :) Lx
ReplyDeleteIt's good to have a think rather than jump straight in
ReplyDeleteCup of tea sounds a good idea
Look forward to seeing what you decide on .... Maybe flowers!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Kim, thanks for stopping by my blog. Re the weight loss, I have been calorie counting for a few weeks but before that i just did one weeks worth of slim and save to get me going abit. Its really hard, and is literally just 4 shakes a day provided by post (£30 a week or £125 a month) you can have 200g of veg too. it was hard but i lost 4lb on it in the week and i found it did really help. hope that helped abit! :) Lx
